Reservations and Payment
  • Reservations can be made up to seven days in advance either ONLINE or over the phone.
    • Advanced reservations are required.  
    • No walk-up or in-person reservations will be allowed 
    • No cash transactions!
  • Payment for ALL FEES MUST BE PAID IN ADVANCE either ONLINE or over the phone with the golf shop staff.
    • Due to the volume of calls we are receiving; we highly suggest you book online
    • Prepaid Fees include:  Green Fees, Single Rider Carts, Driving Range Practice Balls and Merchandise.
  • Golfers are REQUIRED TO WEAR FACIAL COVERINGS (FACE MASKS) WHEN CHECKING-IN AND WHEN AROUND OTHERS. We will not conduct a transaction with a customer not wearing a mask. 

Additional Safety Rules, Precautions and information
  • 6 feet social distancing (separation between people) is required while on property.
  • SINGLE RIDER CARTS ONLY. We encourage those who can walk to do so.
  • NO SPECTATORS. Only golfers with Tee Times or those who rent driving range balls may be allowed on to the property.
  • Prior to starting play or practicing, Golfers must check in at the GOLF SHOP WINDOW and present a valid ID and the receipt/verification for their prepaid fees.  Signage will direct guests as to the check-in area.  Lines on the ground designate where each individual should stand while waiting to check in.
  • Any player with a fever or recent contact with anyone known to have COVID-19 is not allowed at the facility.
  • Those at higher risk of serious illness from COVID-19 are discouraged from golfing at this time.
  • Merchandise and Refreshments are available for sale. Please ask the golf shop window or call ahead of your scheduled tee time.
  • A limited food and beverage takeout menu may be available at the Cafe or at the golf shop window.  Instructions are posted at the golf course.
  • Congregating before, during or after the round is not allowed. Guests who do not comply will be asked to leave the facility. 
  • Rental clubs and push carts are not available at this time.

We are happy to anounce that we will be REOPENING on MONDAY, MAY 4TH.

Reservations and Payment
  • 6 feet social distancing (separation between people) is required while on property.
  • Reservations can be made up to seven (7) days in advance either over the phone.
  • WALKING RATES & INDIVUAL TEE TIMES ONLY
    • No Carts will be rented out at this time
    • Website bookings are available but you must call the golf shop to prepay (prepay option coming soon)
    • Tee Times will be for Single Golfers – You may book multiple tee times if you wish to tee off before or after friends or family.
      • BOOK OVER THE PHONE to book consecutive tee times (i.e. 4 players for 4 consecutive tee times)

  • Prepaid Merchandise will be bagged and available for pick up adjacent at the check-in window.
  • A limited food and beverage takeout menu may be available at the Hill House on-course cafe or at the golf shop window.  Instructions are posted at the golf course.
  • Rental clubs and push carts are not available at this time. All golfers must have their own set of clubs.
  • Driving Range use is temporarily time-based at 30 minutes intervals.
    • The rate is $8 per half-hour range session
    • Prepayment is required
    • Do not attempt to retrieve balls on the range.
  • Golf for 2/Golf Moose/other golf certificates including cart
    • No carts will be available for rental at this time
    • If you choose to use your voucher to play while this procedure is in place, there will be no refunds or credits given for golf cart allocation.
    • To use voucher for FULL PROMOTIONAL VALUE, please wait until our restrictions ease to allow golf cart rental.
    • Updates will be available on our website.
  • Disc Golf
    • Disc Golf rounds must be prepaid for 9 Holes Only per person per day
    • Baskets will be covered to be non-contact holes
    • No congregating before, during or after round
    • Must check-in with the golf shop prior to tee off.
Course Rules
  • 6 feet social distancing (separation between people) is required while on property.
  • You may not enter the golf shop. You will check in for your round at the golf shop window.
  • Golfers are required to wear facial coverings (Face Mask) at CHECK-IN. No Exception. Always keep a face mask on your person.
  • Putting – Cups have been raised. When your ball hits the cup, the ball is considered to be “holed out”.
  • All rakes, divot mix containers and ball-washers have been removed from the course.
 
Daily Operations  
  • The golf course will be open from 7 AM until 5 PM daily for golf. The Driving Range and Practice Facilities will be closed at 6:00 pm
  • The clubhouse, golf shop and dining room will remain closed at all times. Clubhouse bathrooms are available for use by request at the Golf Shop window.
  • Staff will monitor and strictly enforce social distancing practices of golfers before, during and after their round or practice session – compliance is required.
    • Congregating before, during or after the round is not allowed. Guests who do not comply will be asked to leave the facility immediately. 
  • Only golfers will be allowed on the golf course. Golfers are welcome to walk the course but must book over the phone for Walking rates.
  • On-course restrooms will be open for golfers and sanitized frequently and throughout the day.
  • Water will not be provided. Drinking fountains are covered and water coolers removed.  Customer water bottles are not permitted to be filled by staff.
  • Chipping and Putting Greens will remain open for use with player’s own equipment and only for players with tee times for golf course or driving range. Please adhere to restrictions on number of players allowed on each green at a time (on-course and practice).
  • The driving range will remain open. However, every other stall will remain closed in order to maintain a 9’ distance between individuals.
  • Golfers are to remove any trash from their golf cart and place in a trash receptacle.
  • Please call the golf shop if you see anyone not practicing these safety rules. Anyone found not following the rules states above will be asked to leave the premises immediately.

Cleaning and Sanitation
  • Safety signage is posted, and intercom announcements will be made.
  • All staff has received Coronavirus workplace safety training.
  • All staff is required to wear a mask, face covering or bandana and wear gloves.
  • Staff will wash their hands throughout the day and always when changing gloves.
  • Restrooms will be sanitized throughout the day hours.  Doors will be left slightly open to eliminate touchpoints.
  • Range balls will be cleaned and sanitized after each use.

Please see below for some updates and changes from our e-mail earlier yesterday. Please be patient as the preparation for our REOPENING is extensive and time-sensitive. We are excited to have you all back and want to make sure we are taking the correct precautions while keeping the essence of the game we love.

  • Tee Times
    • Please be advised that we are working on our Online PrePayments and that will be the preferred method of booking. Tee Times will not be taken through e-mail. Once tee times are live, we will also take bookings over the phone as usual. 
    • This same procedure will be used for 9 hole Par 3 golf and Disc Golf
  • Golf Course
    • In addition to other precautions stated prior, we will also be removing all ball washers from the golf course, disabling water fountains and providing no-touch options for putting on greens.
    • We will be keeping flag-sticks on the golf course but they will not be allowed to be removed from the hole. 
  • Driving Range
    • Driving Range usage will be time-based in 30 minutes increments and must be booked over the phone prior to round and use.
    • One unlimited range ball session for 30 minutes will be $8 per session. 
    • A time slot will be chosen based on availability and stall number
  • PDM/PPC/FLEX members
    • Membership privileges will resume May 17th and no additional charges will be made for the month. 
    • In turn, normal benefits will not be applicable from May 4th - May 16th. 
    • Please book range and tee times through our public windows

**********4/27/2020 Update**********
Six Bay Area counties, including Alameda, has announced today in a joint statement that the shelter-in-place order will be extended through May 31st. The full details will be released lated this week and should include "limited easing of specific restrictions for a number of lower-risk activites." 

We are waiting to hear on which businesses or activities will be able to resume with the easement of restrictions. Lake Chabot GC remains closed as of today but hopes to get clarity of our status with the full details of the order extension. Thank you for your patience and hope to see you all soon.
